Client : BDO Accountants | Breda, July 2015
Assignment: Concept + Design for the new sustainable relocation of BDO Breda in the new public transport terminal building Breda by architect Koen van Velsen.
After a successful renovation and renovation of the BDO office in Eindhoven in 2003, M+R was commissioned to renew or develop the accommodation of other BDO locations in the Netherlands. BDO is represented in the Netherlands at 20 locations.
M+R has developed a new and sustainable 'look & feel' manual for BDO offices in the Netherlands based on its corporate identity. The manual gives direction to the way materials and colors are used for all BDO locations; with regard to the finishing of the interior and the use of accent colors in combination with workplace environments. The basis of the office concept for BDO provides a public meeting room with a reception, meeting and presentation rooms and an open green work and lunch room. The open meeting and working space is suitable for all visitors to BDO, for example, one can work or have lunch here before the appointment. In addition to the public spaces, the basic concept provides an innovative working environment tailored to the needs of employees. Here is a healthy mix of quiet workplaces for individual and concentrated work to collaborative workplaces and brainstorming rooms. The workplaces are located within a secure environment, so that all customer information is treated confidentially.
