Client: OBOOI! Lingerie shop - Eindhoven, May 2011
Assignment: store concept design
O BOOI! Let's talk lingerie
O BOOI! is meant as an online shop, but a pilot store has been developed to support this concept. This shop ensures that women can comfortably fit the lingerie before they make a purchase. The emphasis is on a well-arranged, attractive store and well-lit, spacious fitting rooms, in short, a store designed for women. The interior is predominantly in the color white, the color accents are introduced by the products. The architectural walls are camouflaged by 'spaghetti' curtains with soft indirect lighting. The products are presented on these walls. For the visual interruption of the walls, existing old cupboards have been mounted and painted in the colors white and pink.
Window torsos are mounted on the ceiling by means of pantographs and can easily vary in height. The O BOOI logo! is visualized by the two round changing rooms with pink lacquer foil. The cash register unit is also bar and made of scaffolding planks. For example, the interior was largely made from the re-use of materials and realized by both owners themselves.
