New office space of BDO South East offices.
Drawing on its experience with innovative and flexible working, M+R has designed a hybrid work environment for BDO Zuid Nederland’s “flagship” office in the new Bold office building at Strijp S in Eindhoven.
The new innovative office environment for BDO Eindhoven’s “Flagship Office” serves as the headquarters for the locations in Tilburg, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Breda | Roosendaal, and Maastricht.

Description:
The innovative office in Eindhoven offers space for meeting, collaboration, knowledge sharing, etc., with nearly 5,000 m² of office space in total. There are many facilities for BDO’s Lines of Services, including scrum, presentation, and meeting rooms. Various workplace concepts can be reserved by employees through a BDO app, aligning with BDO's vision that people can work from the office, at a client’s location, or from home.
The entrance of the building, designed by M+R, complements a neutral, multi-tenant aesthetic with various seating areas, a reception, and meeting rooms. On the ground floor, there is also a dining-work café with a fully equipped kitchen, focusing on local, healthy, and organic food. There are several seating areas where employees can work in addition to enjoying their meals. A separate bar features a foosball table and darts.
On the first floor, there are multiple meeting rooms and a coffee bar with various seating options for informal work and meetings. This area is connected by an open atrium and staircase. Part of the first floor is designed as a flexible workspace with a mix of open and closed workstations. Central to this building section, we incorporated atriums during the design phase and designed a spacious open staircase for direct access to the second, third, and fourth floors.
This central space is designed as a BDO living room, featuring a large pantry, excellent coffee and tea, different seating areas, various workstations, and plenty of greenery. The number and type of workstations were carefully determined through co-creation sessions with employees to ensure they optimally align with their working styles, with a clear focus on collaboration and social cohesion across the various lines of service within the BDO Zuid organization. There are also concentration workstations and quiet spaces, although these are fewer in number as focused work can also be done from home.
The new office is located in the vibrant, newly developed Strijp S district and, with its location, appearance, and unique office design, is an attractive building that employees are eager to visit. BDO’s new hybrid office enhances the sense of community and radiates professionalism and pride.
