"When the decision was taken to renovate and fit out Richemont's Amsterdam offices, we naturally engaged the architectural firm M+R, renowned for its 360° expertise in architecture.
M+R successfully balanced a functional and innovative office layout with timeless and refined interior design and a complete renovation of an historic building. This was achieved while meeting our sustainability requirements, resulting in a BREEAM certification.

During the design and construction of our new headquarters, completed in 2020, M+R handled the interior design to our complete satisfaction. Interactive sessions with Canon employees contributed to the successful design and implementation.
For various R&D locations, both in Venlo and Timisoara, M+R identified and implemented design principles that contribute to a new workplace standard for R&D employees, where they can work comfortably and meet each other within the renovated work areas.

When you look up and let your imagination run wild, you can still see how the milk made its way through the factory's pipes. Thousands of liters of yogurt, butter, buttermilk, cream, and milk were produced for almost a hundred years at this former dairy in Enschede. The Melkhal, with its distinctive appearance, is a well-known building among Enschede residents. It is now a sustainable industrial location (BREEAM excellence) where you can shop, eat, work, and enjoy a cultural venue.
This unique location required creativity while preserving its industrial character. M+R designed a beautiful office for us that feels like a 'clubhouse.' Their design kept the history visible and tangible. M+R combined modern solutions with the 'raw elements' of the old dairy.
The result is a work environment that is now being showcased to clients, BDO colleagues, and other interested parties.
