SHAPES Experience Center by M+R
The Shapes Experience Center in Nieuwegein opened at the beginning of this year (2016); a presentation space where architects, designers and finishing companies can be inspired in the field of decorative sheet material, ceiling and wall coverings, floors and lighting. There is an extensive library with samples and collection books. Events and training are also organised.

PRESENTATION ROOM
The Shapes Experience Center is an initiative of RET interior, Astrimex, Bruijnzeel, Leoxx and Flos. In addition, products from Rockfon, Kronospan, Gyproc and Armstrong are on display.
The Center in a concept and design by M+R interior architecture. We used the lotus flower and the chameleon as design inspiration; where the Lotus flower as a metaphor represents purity and beauty and the chameleon represents the ability to adapt and diversity. The Lotus flower is designed as 3 sculptural elements composed of decor sheet material, these objects rotate slowly. The space is divided into so-called color 'slides', with each slide displaying a color of the total spectrum with different material applications.
