BDO's NEW OFFICE IN BREDA: The Most Sustainable Building in the City Sets the Standard for Future-Proof Working

M+R played a key role in this project as an inspiration source for the use of timber construction. For contractor Winters, this project marks the first application of this innovative building technique, in close collaboration with Rienks architects. Throughout the design process of the new office, there was intensive cooperation with the BDO team. A series of inspiration and co-creation sessions directly influenced the interior design, which focuses on creating a representative and functional workspace aligned with the values of BDO Breda and Roosendaal.
The interior design places a strong emphasis on work enjoyment and sustainability, using high-quality, eco-friendly materials that are built to last. The workspace is designed to be flexible and hybrid, allowing it to adapt to the changing needs of users while offering long-term functionality. Specific design features, such as references to notable areas in Breda and Roosendaal, including nature reserves and water towers, enhance the connection to the surrounding environment. Each floor offers a variety of work and meeting spaces, as well as areas for gathering and relaxation.
