New construction of sustainable office building for BDO in Breda | realization 2024

New construction of a state-of-the-art, sustainable office building with a timber construction made of Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT). At M+R we have committed ourselves to developing timeless and innovative work environments that are truly meaningful, and this building is a great example of that.

When constructing this office building, we encouraged the developer to choose CLT because of the many advantages it offers. CLT is a sustainable and renewable building material made from cross-laminated wooden panels. It has excellent thermal insulation, resulting in lower energy costs and reduced CO2 emissions. In addition, the use of wood as a building material provides a warm and natural appearance, which contributes to a pleasant working environment.

This sustainable office building is more than just a construction. It is an innovative working environment that has been developed in close collaboration with the users. We listened to the needs and wishes of future tenants and integrated them into the design. The building is designed to promote flexibility, comfort and productivity.
